Tips to Master Spoken English | BSL - British School of Language

    1.   Learn to Listen  “In order to speak you must listen before” Before Hopping on to speaking, learn to Listen. If you don’t know how it’s pronounced, how will you do the same? Mostly every word has a different pronunciation, use Google Translator to be sure! You remember things you hear, so be attentive while listening.   2.           Use Subtitles While watching movies in English use subtitles for better understanding. By that, you will see the spelling of the words and understand the pronunciation, simultaneously. Since U.S. and British accents are different, you won’t be able to understand what they are speaking, subtitles will make it easy for you to understand and Thus, after sometime you won’t even feel the need for subtitles.    3.           Focus on Phonic Sounds Phonic Sounds is a method of linking sounds with alphabets to make it easy for the latter to form words and therefore, speak. They are very helpful for beginners and children.  e,g. N is not
