SAT ( Scholastic Aptitude Test) is one of the most important exams when you are planning to apply for colleges in the United States. We have jot down a list of comprehensive tips to ease the process for you. These tips won't only help you for your exams at present but are also beneficial in the long run as well. These tips are penned down by our very thoughtful experts, to reduce the stress of petrified examinee’s.

1.  Eliminate and unlock

Not all the answers are right and not all the answers are wrong. Eliminating the ones which do not fit will make your process easier and by that you’ll get closer to your correct answer, filtration is important.

2.          How to efficiently do test papers?

Before starting the test papers figure out your pitfalls and areas where you have to work.

·         Time Management

·         Grammar

·          Reading

·          Writing

·         Question comprehension

Give yourself ample time to understand each question, Hence, start without a timer.

3.          Mark your mistakes

Mark your mistakes or write them down while attempting the questions so you know where you went wrong, and you can revise later, to avoid stumbling again. Language is a dominant part of SAT and a lesser known fact is that it is extremely vast and thus, requires a lot of attention. Expression of feelings has no rules, Language only lays a foundation and which is in any way, open to subjective interpretation.

4.          Make each inaccuracy, accurate

Focus on each mistake. Give yourself sufficient time to analyze and correct each mistake. Please don’t move forward without stepping back first. Try not to get distracted from your goal. Each drop makes a river.

5.          When confused, look around

When you’re not able to figure the correct answer, look sideways or read the whole passage. Connotations around it give an idea for the answer, and for the rest, you have to trust your instincts.

6.          What is the strategy to read passages?

Make it a point to read the question first and then start looking for the answers. If you don’t know what you’re looking for then it’s a waste of time and efforts. Always strategize beforehand, and stick to it for better and promising results.

7.          Train your mind to read fast

You just don’t wake up one day and become the greatest reader of all time. It takes time and dedication to excel. Give your mind time to tune itself in that direction.

8.          Double check on “NO CHANGE”

Always remember “NO CHANGE” is for 25% or less of the questions. Don’t doubt yourself, just trust your instincts and prepare well.

9.          Read the whole passage for Rhetorical questions

Sometimes the figure of speech is not clear. So, read the whole passage to get the idea and thus, it will make it more clear.

10.     What to do when all the answers are grammatically correct?

If all the answers are grammatically correct, choose the one which is “CONCISE” not “PRECISE”. Precise means accurate and whereas, Concise means short yet clear. Not for all, but when there is a huge similarity.

11.     Invest more time Essay prompts

Not only do they carry more marks but they are also very mind-boggling. Also, the new essay prompts pattern is exhausting. Make sure you are thorough.
